Vito Vallini studied at the Conservatorio “F. Morlacchi”, of Perugia, where he was awarded maximum marks, and continued his studies at the Accademia of Santa Cecilia with Amedeo Baldovino (cello) and Pina Carmirelli (chamber music) he began his intense musical career as part of the “Quartetto di Perugia“. As a member of “I Musici” he took part in many tours which took him to the carnegi e hall in 1973. He has also been a member of the Orchestra Sinfonica di Santa Cecilia, and for three years was lead cello in the Opera Orchestra of Rome. In 1983 he became lead cello in the “Solisti Aquilani” with whome he performs all over the world, also as a soloist, playing concertos by; Tartini, Vivaldi, Leo, Cirri and Borghi. He has recorded with the following record Labels, Ricordi, Bongiovanni, Edipan, Dynamic, Kock Scwann. He teaches cello at the Conservatorio of Perugia. Vito Vallini plays an eccelent J. Steiner dated 1700, and also on accasions a S. Scarampella or a beautiful eighteenth century copy of a G.B. Guadagnini.
