The course (from 1 to 7 August) held by Chiara Franceschini, starts from a holistic vision of instrumental performance, in which mind and body operate in close synergy and put themselves at the service of musical thought. It aims to deepen the technical-interpretative aspects of the violin repertoire, both solo and chamber music, with particular attention to:

  • elements of executive practice related to the author and the period of composition of the works studied;
  • metacognitive strategies (to analyze one’s own method of study and own modalities of learning)
  • techniques of body and postural awareness, aimed at maintaining a correct psychophysical balance in public performance.
