At the age of 16 he graduates in saxophone under the guidedance of M° Alfio Galigani and at the same time studies clarinet and flute. After that he moves to the USA perfecting his skills under the supervision of Joe Allard in New York and Paul H. Jeffrey at Duke University, Durham. Subsequently his teachers will be: Robert Mann for composition, Lino Quagliero and Bruno Canfora for arrangiament and Francesco de Masi, with whom he will establish a long working relationship, for orchestra conduction.

During his carreer, playing different musical genders, he collaborated with Gunther Shuller, John Faddis, Al Jarreau, Caetano Veloso,Gilberto Gil, Ray Charles, Mel Lewis, Sting, Gino Vannelli, Cassandra Wilson, RTS Big Band and many more, performing in Theatres and Festivals all around the world. In classical music, he collaborates with Zubin Metha, George Pretre, James Levine, Daniel Harding only to mention a few. Prolific composer, he writes music for cinema and television.In 2011 he won the international music competition of NFA in America, also receiving the honourable mention. In 2014 one of his compositions won the World Selection for new Compositions for Trumpet, organized by the International Trumpet Guild. In 2018 his concert for Saxophone and orchestra has been rappresented in Belgrade under his direction at the Belgrade “ Saxperience”.

His music is published by Riverberi Sonori, Beat Records, Pentaflowers, Rai Trade, Rara e BMG. Since 2008 he collaborates with the Conservatories of Nizza, Mentone and Cannes which have introduced his compositions both in the school curriculum and in playing competition.
Since 2017 he teaches saxophone at Saxperience Summer Festival in Herceg Novi, Montenegro. Since 1986 he is the 1°sax Alto,clarinet and flute in the “Orchestra di Musica Leggera” of RAI Italian Radio and Television Broadcasting Company.
