Persian singer and musician, Farzaneh Joorabchi was born in Tehran (Iran). She is graduated in Architecture from the University of Florence. She met in Florence the great Maestro of Persian music Mohammad Reza Lotfi and started studying Persian music.
She participated in various music courses and seminars with Hoosein Alizadeh, Majid Kiani, Parviz Meshkatian, Mohamad reza Darvishi.
Farzaneh conducted concerts and seminars in Europe and North Africa and in the United States on Persian Traditional Music and Workshops on Singing and Healing in Ancient Persia.
She has collaborated with various artists in Italy, Germany, Iran, Morocco, Senegal, United States: she has carried out an intense concert activity with the “Al Qantarah” complex for several years, presenting the influence of oriental music in medieval Sicilian music, affecting the “album” Abballati Abballati “, (Fonè, 1999).
She collaborates with the soloists of the National Academy of Santa Cecilia, Ad.agio, free body concerts (Rome) and with the MUSA educational project in Germany, with Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie concert for children “Frome The Caspian to the Mediterranean”.
Since 1999 she has been collaborating with the music department of Wellesley College in Boston (seminars and concerts) and later formed a duet with the virtuoso pianist Lois Shapiro, USA.
She collaborates with Driss Alaoui Mdaghri in the Multiethnic project of Come to My Home in Morocco, and then with the National Orchestra of Senegal.
As a singer and musician she won the first prize at the 4th “On the Road Festival” in Pelago (Florence, 1992) and participated in numerous festivals and festivals, like:
