Composer, conductor (pupil of Franco Ferrara), choir conductor and organist, he was tenured professor in the State Conservatory of L’Aquila.
In said Conservatory he held the courses of “Theory and practice of Gregorian chant” for those enrolled in the upper three years (instrumentalists, singers, composers).
Composer and conductor of numerous speakers (including the “Divine Mercy” trilogy) for soloists, polyphonic choir and symphony orchestra, all broadcast live on RAI and satellite networks. He has been a guest on Cristianità on Rai International many times, led by Sister Myriam Castelli, both as a studio performer and as a testimonial.
His music has been performed among other things: at Carnegie Hall in New York and Chicago (Bruno Canino and Luisa Sello), Switzerland, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Austria, Germany, England, Argentina, Spain, France, Ukraina, China, India, Japan, Sala Nervi and St. Peter’s Square (Vatican), etc.
He practiced Gregorian chant since his youth, when he was also organist of Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence.
Numerous concerts with the exclusive repertoire of Gregorian chant or in a larger drawing on the modality. I refer to the cycle for the Abruzzo Region “Music in the Hermitages” and “From the Gregorian to Stravinsky” (in Fossacesia) starting from the “Orbis Factor” to get to the “Symphony of Psalms” for choir and orchestra.
He is the Director and Professor of the “Permanent Gregorian Chant Center” of the Pasquale II Cultural Center in Corniolo (FC).
