The Accademia di Belcanto section opens in Assisi Suono Sacro, teachers: Natalia Mogilevskaja (vocal style and pronunciation of the Italian language), Irina Rindzuner (soprano, vocal technique, repertoire), Edward Randall (vocal technique, repertoire), Paolo Lardizzone (tenor , vocal technique, repertoire), Lena Gershuni (vocal coach).
The choice of the city of Assisi for the start up of the academic courses was determined by the high spiritual value, the great historical and artistic importance of the region of Umbria.
In fact, the land of Umbria has been a source of inspiration for generations of artists, poets and musicians, starting with the poet Sesto Aurelio Propezio, whose home is located in Assisi, to then move on to the spiritual poetry of St. by Cimabue, Giotto, Simone Martini, Perugino, the Lorenzetti brothers, up to the music of Corelli, Liszt, Messiaen, Poulenc, to name a few.
By inaugurating the 2022 Summer Session of the Accademia Bel Canto Assisi in collaboration with the Suono Sacro Festival, we are sure that even today young musicians will be able to grasp new inspirations, new ideas, new experiences and new creative possibilities.
The academy’s professors are world-renowned musicians with many years of experience in the world of entertainment and teaching. They are interested in the development of opera and classical music in general, ready for an open intellectual communication in search of non-standard solutions for the approach to technology and the individual repertoire for each of the participants in the project.
For whom the course is created
The courses of the 2022 Summer Session are aimed at an international audience of students and professional singers interested in the technical aspects and those of the artistic interpretation of the opera repertoire; to those people motivated to perfect their vocal skills in order to acquire new perspectives for the growth of their professional career.
The advanced courses ensure active participation (personal lesson on vocal technique and repertoire in front of the public), also participating in all other lessons, or passive participation as a listener only.
Furthermore, for the participants of the active program there is the possibility of additional private lessons (by personal agreement) and at the end of the course there will be a final concert of the participants and professors.
The Certificate of the Bel Canto Academy of Assisi will be issued to all participants based on their commitment in the courses of the 2022 Summer Session during the final evening.
At the choice of the participants, our courses are taught in English, Italian, German and Russian.
